Why Vote Green?

"Building a successful economy is not at odds with protecting our environment, it is impossible without it" - Caroline Lucas, 11th May at the launch of the Green Party Manifesto.

Elections are important at the best of times, and this is no exception; lots of things are riding on it.

Where do you stand, and how will you vote?

The Green Party is the only party that puts the environment at the heart of its policies, because, after all, with an environment that no longer works everything else becomes void!

The Green Party will seek to end the monopoly of the big six energy companies, and make energy companies local, for the local area.

The Green Party is the only party that pledges to lessen the amount of plastic bottle waste by introducing a bottle deposit scheme.

The Green Party is the only party that is determined to keep fossil fuels where they belong, in the ground, by moving towards renewable energy sources.

The Green Party is the only party that works for better public transport, better walking and cycling routes, cleaner air and less pollution.

Charlotte Armstrong - Green candidate for IpswichSo, a few reasons to use your vote to vote Green on the 8th June 2017. A vote for Charlotte is not a wasted vote, because your vote will make a difference. By electing a Green MP for Ipswich on the 8th June you will be standing up for a different kind of politics, a kind of politics that speaks for both local people in Ipswich, and the environment that we all have to live in.

Every added Green vote is an extra voice calling on the other parties to recognise and act on these issues.

On the 8th June Vote!..........Vote Charlotte................Vote Green Party.
