Andy Patmore is the Green Party candidate for the Suffolk Police Commissioner elections in May.

27 April 2021

Vote for Andy Patmore to be your next Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk on May 6. If elected, Andy is determined to help strengthen communities and provide a tailored police response that is appropriate for each area, to support initiatives for young people in the county in order to keep them out of gangs or criminal activities and to encourage the recruitment of new police officers from all backgrounds and to support all new and existing officers with an emphasis on their mental health. He would also like to see community policing committees established to maintain close links between these communities and the police.

Andy, 52, has lived in Suffolk since 2000 and moved to Ipswich in 2011 where he lives with his wife and family. He has studied Counselling Techniques and is a qualified Youth Support Worker and works part-time for the Suffolk Young People's Health Project where he volunteered for two years previously. Andy has also volunteered in the Mental Health and Sexual Abuse sectors and has a keen interest in helping those who have suffered with Domestic Abuse, especially male survivors.
