5 September 2022

Our bills are set to soar this winter yet energy companies are making record profits.

Anglian Water made millions in operating profits last year, yet sewage that they should be treating is being pumped into our streams, and leaks on our streets are left unfixed for weeks. They’re more interested in lining their pockets than doing the job we all pay them to do.

Just like all the other Tories, our new PM tells us that Britain can GROW its way out of its problems. Yet we’re already one of the top richest countries in the world. Something doesn’t add up.

What if we were to stop obsessing about endless growth and instead create an economy that focuses on everyone's health and wellbeing, supporting local businesses and communities, and on the future of our planet?

Join us for an evening to discuss The Wellbeing Economy on 22nd September. There will be a film, some background information and some examples of what a wellbeing economy could look like.

22nd September, 6.30pm, Ipswich Institute, Tower Street
