Do not miss out as Natalie Bennett, otherwise known as Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle, former leader of the Green Party and now member of the House of Lords, comes to Ipswich on Saturday 3rd February to help us elect David Plowman as the first ever Green Party councillor in Ipswich!

Ipswich is the last local authority in Suffolk to not have a Green Party councillor. Winning a seat at the table here in May 2024 would strengthen the feeling that the Green Party are the driving force all across Suffolk as we head into a critical general election where we are hoping to elect our 2nd Green MP with Adrian Ramsay in Waveney Valley.

In May 2023, we were the biggest winners in our target ward of Alexandra, increasing our vote share by more than any other party while the Labour vote shrunk significantly.

We can win here in 2024 but to make sure we get across the line, we need to ramp up the campaign NOW. Will you sign-up to make our action day with Natalie on 3rd February a massive event?

You will have an opportunity to have something to eat and drink at a local pub, meet and get pictures with Natalie before hearing about her time in the House of Lords. She will then join us on the streets delivering leaflets and speaking to local residents.

The more people that attend, the more likely we can get our hardworking candidate David Plowman elected as the first ever Green on Ipswich Council, the last council in Suffolk without any green representation.

Do not worry if you have not door-knocked before - there will be a full briefing and volunteers will be paired up, or you can help deliver leaflets. Just let us know which you would prefer by signing up.

We need this to be a massive event so that we can show just how strong the Green Party are in Suffolk!
